Elbow Toss Drop

Here is a toss/contact trick for two balls that is simple to learn and fun to do. To learn it you need to be able to do a reasonably solid arm roll in both directions..that is hand to elbow and elbow to hand. This trick will also be much easier to learn if you have a descent side elbow stall.

Begin with one ball in the cradle position of the right hand held under the left shoulder and the second ball held in the left palm just past the elbow of the right arm.

Begin an arm roll with the ball in the right hand. Just before the arm rolled ball falls from the right elbow, the left hand throws the second ball up and over the first aiming for the elbow.

The first ball is caught in the palm of the left hand and the second is caught on the elbow of the right arm.

The trick can end there, but the force of the throw and the difficulty of a side elbow stall over a reverse arm roll often makes it easier to allow the second ball to continue in the direction of the throw to the hand.
