Top Elbow Stall

This is one of the more difficult and more rewarding elbow stalls. Because of the height at which it is held, and the unhelpfully barren topography of the stall point, this stall requires very steady balance.

The stall point lies a few inches below the elbow at the indentation between the two muscle groups flanking the bone. This indentation can often be exaggerated by rotating the wrist in one direction or the other to flex the muscles.

As with any stall, first practice placing the ball there, then moving the arm and body while the ball is there, then finally practice rolling and throwing the ball there.
